Our folklore dance group is a vibrant heart of our community, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich tapestry of Serbian culture. Established in 1997, shortly after the completion of the Serbian Community Centre, our group brings together people of all ages to learn and perform traditional Serbian dances.
We believe that passing on these cherished traditions to younger generations is essential for maintaining our cultural identity. Our dancers have the opportunity to develop strong friendships, teamwork, and discipline while immersing themselves in the beauty of Serbian folklore.
Our repertoire encompasses a wide range of dances from various regions of Serbia, including Sumadia, Nisava, Vojvodina, Vlaske, Studenica, Nis, Petrovdanske Lile, and many more. We are proud to showcase the diversity and richness of Serbian dance at our performances.
